OUR BEGINNINGS

The garage has been there on Crescent Ave since 1919. It once housed a dentist's office, doctors offices, and even a drug store. After multiple owners, Patricia Bonecutter bought the space in 2002 and Summit City Car Care was born.
As a woman who had faced a share of unfair treatment from car repair shops, she wanted Summit City Car Care to be a space women felt safe. Summit City follows the golden rule, “Do unto others as you would want to be treated.” They want every person who comes in to be treated with honesty and respect. After years of running the business, Patricia hopes to retire within the next year and sell the shop to one of her current employees, who is passionate about the business and will carry on the legacy and mission.
